As a company, we truly understand that continuously improving our product and service is vital to our success. As a person, we also need to remember how to contribute to our society and make it a better place to live. With the support of the Board, management and employees, we actively participate in various activities which promote social coherence and cultural exchange in order to give back what we gained from the society.

         Apart from a variety of donation and charitable events, we also support development of industrial and technology sector, such as participation in research project held by business/academic organizations, as well as sponsorship on industry seminars for the public.In addition, we have responded to the HKSAR government’s appeal to participate in the “One Company, One Job” campaign targeting on HK local graduates. We also regularly provide internship and summer job opportunities for current tertiary students.

         As for our PRC mainland counterparts, they are active in the local community services, such as running blood donation, cleaning and educational campaigns. Besides, they also regularly provide help to charitable organizations on fund-raising activities and encourage their staff to provide social service for the needy. In the Zhongshan main plant, the company also fully supports labour unions and advocates activities held by the sub-division of the Chinese Communist Party. Above all, CEC also sponsors a few research projects carried out by local universities, such as setting up a Magnetic and Ferrite Material Research Center in co-operation with a local academic institution.
